Hello, My name is Ricardo, and I’m thrilled to presenting you my band Libres Del Mundo, a blend of superritmica world percussion india flam latin belly dance n laptop improv music.

It’s an upbeat, party-mood music, with a repertoire that includes a variety of cover and original songs like Flamenco, Latin, Mideastern, Brazilian, World Dance and Ethnic Fusion styles.

Featuring (in Los Angeles) Alfredo and Walter on Spanish guitars, Edward on Bass myself World percussionist and Singer Ricardo as its musical director.

Other guests include the amazing Fuzzbee on Flute and electric guitar and Simon on Drumset and percussion, among others, depending on the venue.

 
Libres Del Mundo occasionally includes special guest star dancers like Lisa and background singers like Alvera (featured in the video), Marcela and Kristelle among others, adding a dynamic and colorful spark to the shows.

Libres Del Mundo started in 2008, in an attempt to fill a void regarding Flamenco Latin live music in the Los Angeles scene. Fortunately we are having a great response from the audiences, which gives us the positive energy needed to continue working hard on each of our presentations.

A variety of remixed songs from world-renowned artists like the Gypsy Kings, Ketama, Paco de Lucia, Buena Vista Social Club, Vinicius De Moraes, Stan Getz, Antonio Jobim, Bob Marley, Marc Anthony, Dady Yanky, etc. as well as our original material, composes the essential repertoire that Libres Del Mundo performs on its shows.
